Sharing performance art and storytelling with an audience has always been Galya’s dream. From a young age, she found herself drawn to the performing arts, gravitating towards prestigious theatrical schools and musical academies that would encourage self expression through performance.
Galya’s professional experience has put her in front of the camera and on the stage in musical theater, short film, television pilot, web series, and feature film productions. But her creative endeavors have led her to explore additional outlets for her love for film, TV, and theater. Her time on set has proven valuable for understanding ways to contribute her passion to the industry - and she is inspired and equally passionate about building positive images of women and people of color on-screen. Through writing and project development for building characters and archetypes that encourage unity and equality to color correcting and grading with special regard to every skin tone, Galya’s desire to be a representative for progressive growth in all aspects of the film industry is vast.
